Lori's Goalkeeper Infected with Coronavirus, Three More Players Have High Fever
The goalkeeper of Vanadzor's Lori football club, Vardan Shahatutyan, has been infected with coronavirus, according to a statement from the club's press service. "Dear football fans, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have negative effects not only on the sporting results of the Lori football club but has also infected representatives of the club. Today, the test result was positive for goalkeeper Vardan Shahatutyan. He has already been hospitalized and is under the supervision of doctors. Three more players currently have a high fever. On July 9, Lori's players and staff will be tested again as per the established protocol. The club wishes a speedy recovery and health to all those infected," the statement reads.
In the last round of the Armenian Championship, Lori is scheduled to host Yerevan's Ararat on July 14.
