Chechen Blogger's Murder Involves Foreign Intelligence Services Against Russia, Says Kadyrov
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, believes that foreign intelligence agencies are involved in the murder of a Chechen blogger in the Austrian capital, working against Russia and its leadership.
Earlier reports had indicated that a Russian refugee was shot in the Austrian capital. According to an Australian newspaper, both the shooter and the victim hail from Chechnya. However, local police have not confirmed their Chechen backgrounds.
OE24 television reported that the case involves a 43-year-old refugee who was a video blogger. The refugee, named Mamikhan, arrived in Austria in 2005 and recently obtained a passport under the name Martin B.
Kadyrov stated he has been following the events in Vienna and believes that the information machinery is blaming the blogger for the murder without any statements from official institutions. He noted that both Mamikhan and other bloggers, who profit from fake humanitarian narratives, will always become victims of intelligence services working against Russia and personally against him, as he wrote on his Telegram channel.
