Temporary Suspension of 'Yerevan Mall' Operations
According to the decision of the Armenian Prime Minister, the operations of 'Yerevan Mall' have been temporarily suspended for 24 hours. This suspension specifically pertains to the administrative and office areas of the shopping center. This information has been confirmed by the State Revenue Committee.
Previously, a visit by the Armenian Health and Labor Inspection body recorded several violations of safety norms established by the Prime Minister regarding office spaces. Employees were found not wearing masks in office settings, the closed trash bins did not meet the required numbers, social distancing of 1.5 meters between workstations was not maintained, the temperature measurement log was inadequately filled, and employees were only checked for their temperature once.
Based on these violations, the decision for a temporary operational ban was made. However, the commercial part of the center continues to function.
The operator's activities are prohibited starting from the time the State Revenue Committee's personnel inform them about the suspension and post the decision notice at the entrance doors.
