Health Minister Calls for Not Wearing Cloth Masks

Homemade masks can never replace medical masks. This was stated today by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, during a government meeting.

“Now we see that wearing cloth masks has become fashionable. I urge and call on all our colleagues, including those present here, not to wear cloth masks, and also all our citizens,” said Torosyan.

He noted that wearing a cloth mask should only be determined by a lack of financial resources, not for reasons of beauty or others.
