Rain and Hail Expected; Temperatures to Remain Nearly Unchanged

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in Yerevan on the evening of August 16 and overnight into August 17, with brief rainfall in certain areas of the city. Wind gusts during thunderstorms may reach 18-23 m/s.

During the day on August 17, no precipitation is forecasted for the 18th and 20th. From August 16 to 20, wind gusts are expected in the evening hours, reaching 15-18 m/s.

Short bursts of rain and thunderstorms may occur in various regions during the night and after noon on August 16-20, with heavy rainfall possible in certain locations on the 16th and 17th, including hail.

Winds will be from the northeast and east at 4-7 m/s, with gusts during thunderstorms reaching 20-25 m/s.

In the Armavir region, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and certain parts of Shirak, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are anticipated in the evening hours on August 16-20. Air temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
