4472 COVID-19 Cases Reported in Armenia, 134 Recoveries According to Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health of Armenia reports that as of May 17 at 11:00, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 4472. Over the course of a day, 189 new cases have been recorded.

The number of recoveries has increased by 134, bringing the total to 1925. As of now, there are 2463 individuals currently under treatment.

The ministry also states that the number of tests administered by May 17 stands at 40,230.

In terms of fatalities, there have been 5 additional deaths attributed to the virus, raising the total number of deaths to 60. There have also been 24 deaths of patients who were infected but died from other causes.
