239 New Coronavirus Infections and 3 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of May 16, Armenia has confirmed 239 new cases of coronavirus infection. Three more citizens have died as a result of the virus. The total number of infected individuals has reached 4,283, with the death toll now at 55.

This information was provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia. In the past day, 125 individuals have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,791, while 2,415 individuals are currently receiving treatment.

In total, 39,005 citizens have been tested for the virus. As of May 16, no deaths have been registered due to other causes. It is important to note that these are cases where the patient had coronavirus, but the death was caused by a non-coronavirus-related issue. The total number of such cases is 22.
