Vardenis Hospital Closed as COVID-19 Confirmed in Over Ten Staff Members
According to ArmDaily.am, the Vardenis Hospital is closed starting today. All patients hospitalized in the hospital were discharged yesterday, and staff members were informed that they would not be working.
Sources report that 12 hospital employees have already tested positive for COVID-19, with most of the staff self-isolating. Attempts to contact the regional governor, the hospital director, or the mayor of Vardenis were unsuccessful, as they did not respond to phone calls.
According to the source, the Ministry of Health has stated that they do not provide comments on individual cases and suggested reaching out to the regional administration or the Vardenis mayor's office, as the regional administration was the first to announce cases of COVID-19 in the area.
