Gas Explosion in Residential Building in Orechovo-Zuyevo near Moscow Results in 1 Death and 7 Injuries
A gas explosion occurred in a five-story residential building in the city of Orechovo-Zuyevo, Russia, resulting in the death of one person. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The incident took place at building 31 on Gagarin Street. According to the agency, the gas exploded in an apartment on the third floor. The second entrance to the building collapsed from the third to the fifth floor. Currently, seven people are known to be injured. A total of 200 individuals have been evacuated from the building and relocated to temporary accommodations. The causes of the explosion are being investigated.
