Argument and Gunshot at Agricultural Market

On March 31, a report was received by the Vagharchapat division of the police from the emergency services of Ejmiadzin, stating that a person had sustained a gunshot wound at the agricultural market in Gay village. The operational group dispatched to the scene clarified that an argument had occurred between two individuals at the agricultural market in Gay village on the same day. During the altercation, one of them had assaulted the other, causing bodily harm, and had also fired a shot into the air from a gas pistol.

Thanks to the measures taken by the criminal investigators of the Vagharchapat police, the identities of those involved in the argument were established. Following explanatory work by the police, a 34-year-old man from Yerevan presented himself to the police on March 31 and provided an explanation, stating that he was the one who fired into the air from his gas pistol. He submitted the gas pistol.

Measures are being taken to locate the other participant in the altercation. Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
