Expired Food Products Destroyed
Recently, a citizen reported to the hotline of the Food Safety Inspection Body that expired food products were being sold in several stores in the Nor Geghi and Nor Hajn communities of the Kotayk Province.
As a result of a supervisory visit by specialists from the Kotayk regional center of the inspection body, expired food items were discovered in the Arpine Hayrapetyan grocery store in Nor Hajn, including a "Large Holiday Strawberry Cake," pork fillet, strained yogurt, and “Bavarian” sausage.
Additionally, in a pharmacy owned by the same operator, expired products were identified, such as "Nestlé" brand baby food, "Humana" brand cumin tea, buckwheat porridge, and "Hipp" brand fruit puree. The shelf life of these items had also expired.
The mentioned products have been removed from sale and destroyed on site.
