Goris Mayor Denies Arrest and Apartment Search Reports
Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan denied reports in the media claiming that his apartment had been searched or that he had been arrested during a conversation with Tert.am.
"These statements do not correspond to reality in any way. I was at my workplace yesterday, and before that, I have been working today; none of this has any connection to reality," said Arushanyan.
The spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, Aram Avetisyan, also commented during a conversation with the media, stating that a criminal case has been initiated under articles 133 and 322, but there is no individual with any status or anything else involved. "An investigation is underway, during which searches and interrogations have been carried out, but there is no individual with any status involved," said Avetisyan.
