Coronavirus Detected in Russian Citizen Arriving from Armenia
Two new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Russia's Krasnodar region, one of which involves a citizen who arrived from Armenia.
According to rbc.ru, citing a press release from the Krasnodar regional operational headquarters, the individual is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Sochi and is in an isolated intensive care unit.
"This person has arrived from Armenia. The circle of contacts with patients has been established within the Krasnodar region. All those they came into contact with are currently in isolation under medical supervision," the statement said.
According to Interfax, both patients are under 25 years old. It is noted that the other patient contracted the virus while vacationing at a resort in Courchevel, France, while the citizen from Armenia had contact with relatives infected with the coronavirus.
