Fourth Football Match Canceled in Italy Due to Coronavirus
The match between Torino and Parma, part of Serie A's 25th round, has been postponed due to the threat of spreading coronavirus. This information was reported by Football Italia. Thus, this is already the fourth Serie A match to be postponed because of the coronavirus.
Previously, matches involving Verona vs. Cagliari, Atalanta vs. Sassuolo, and Inter vs. Sampdoria had been postponed. Additionally, all sporting events scheduled for Sunday in the Veneto and Lombardy regions have been canceled.
Currently, Italy has reported over 100 cases of coronavirus infection, with the highest numbers found in Lombardy (90) and Veneto (17). Two people have already died from the virus.
