Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff Artak Davtyan to Testify Before April War Investigation Committee
According to information from "Haykakan Zhamanak", the next guest of the parliamentary investigative committee studying the circumstances of the April War will be the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Artak Davtyan.
Major General Artak Davtyan held the position of head of the operational department of the Armed Forces General Staff during the April War. In one of his interviews, Davtyan expressed the opinion that the revelations from the parliamentary commission created to investigate the circumstances of the four-day war would clarify issues that would lead to high-ranking officials not being held accountable, but rather rewarded for their effective work.
It is noteworthy that the guest of the previous session was the former Minister of Defense, Seyran Ohanyan, who answered questions from the committee members for about four hours.
