Putin Creates New Position for Medvedev After His Resignation
Following the resignation of the Russian government, former Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev may be appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. This proposal was made by President Vladimir Putin.
Putin expressed his gratitude to the members of the government and stated that he intends to create a new position, that of Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, and sees Medvedev as the right candidate for it.
It is worth noting that the Russian government recently resigned in its entirety. This occurred after President Putin's address to the Federation Council.
In his address, Putin discussed potential constitutional changes.
