There Are Still Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of December 28 at 11:00 PM, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass (from the Gegharkunik region) is closed for trucks and difficult for passenger vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to navigate for all types of vehicles.
In the Vardenyats Pass (from the Vayots Dzor region), on the Gorayk-Zanger road, and on the roads in the town of Hrazdan in the Kotayk region, there are patches of black ice. In Gyumri city and Ashotsk village in the Shirak region, it is snowing.
According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetia Emergency Ministry in Russia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
