Over 2,000 Refugees Returned to Syria in One Day
During the past day, more than two thousand refugees from foreign countries have returned to Syria. According to RIA Novosti, this information was reported by the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Control over the Movement of Refugees.
“In the past day, 2,128 refugees have returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from foreign countries, including from Lebanon through the ‘Jdeidat Yabus’ and ‘Tal Kalakh’ checkpoints, with 1,372 individuals (412 women, 700 children), and from Jordan through the ‘Nassib’ checkpoint, with 756 individuals (227 women, 386 children),” the statement noted.
Additionally, three refugees have moved to permanent residences within the country in a single day.
