Over 60 Rescuers in Austria Searching for People Trapped Under Avalanche

In the Austrian ski resorts of "Ankogel" and Switzerland's Andermatt, skiers are trapped under an avalanche.

According to local media reports, two individuals have managed to escape the avalanche and were transported to the hospital with various injuries. More than 60 rescuers, along with helicopters and dogs, are searching for people who may still be buried under the thick layer of snow.

At the same time, the bodies of three climbers were discovered in the Gran Sasso mountain range in Italy’s Abruzzo region. Preliminary data suggests that they slipped on the snow while climbing and fell into a ravine. Two of them died from the impact, while the third succumbed to the avalanche.
