Snowfall Reported in Aparan, Aragyugh, and Jermuk
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 25, at 19:23, the roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. There are patches of black ice in the Vardenyats Mountain Pass. Drivers of freight vehicles are advised to use chains.
In Aparan city of the Aragatsotn Province, in Aragyugh village, and in Jermuk city of the Vayots Dzor Province, snowfall is ongoing.
According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and from the North Ossetian Emergency Situations Ministry in Russia, the Stepanstsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of transport.
