The groveling artist is a repugnant phenomenon. This is what Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly, wrote on his Facebook page.

He particularly noted: “Certainly, to grovel is neither honorable nor enjoyable for anyone, but it is horrifying when artists do it. Now, some will say that it's a matter of survival... But excuse me, today, besides a few, who doesn’t have a living problem? What I mean is that one should not belittle and flatter the rulers of the day... Later, it becomes a habit that one cannot rid themselves of, just like an immoral woman from her known occupation.”
