‘Jhozhovurd’. Yuri Khachaturov’s Son Sues Surik Khachatryan

‘Jhozhovurd’ newspaper reports that the waters between the family members of former Secretary General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov and former Governor of Syunik Surik Khachatryan are once again not flowing in the same direction. We previously reported that Igor Khachaturov had inexplicably withdrawn his lawsuit against the former governor of Syunik after 9 months, but has now regretted it and re-filed the case with the same demand.

As is known, on October 8, 2018, Igor Khachaturov, the son of the former Secretary General of CSTO Yuri Khachaturov, had sued Syunik's former governor, his neighbor Surik Khachatryan, and his wife Loreta Barseghyan. The plaintiff, Igor Khachaturov, demanded that the defendant be compelled to voluntarily demolish the structure built on his land and not to obstruct the restoration of the area to its original state.

Although Martine Zilfugharyan, the Khachatryans' lawyer, assured us that there was nothing illegal about the construction, Igor Khachaturov has submitted a lawsuit to the court, arguing that part of the building has been constructed on his property.
