Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan Participate in the 40th UNESCO General Conference
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by his wife Anna Hakobyan, visited the UNESCO headquarters in Paris as part of a working visit, where they participated in the organization's 40th General Conference.
Upon their arrival at the headquarters, they were greeted by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. Following a photo opportunity, the Prime Minister took part in a thematic discussion titled 'Reinventing Learning,' which included leaders from several countries and delegations.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister addressed the reforms being implemented in Armenia's public administration system as well as in the education sector. He identified the enhancement of education quality as a strategic challenge and noted that the development of this sector remains a priority for the Armenian government.
The Prime Minister emphasized that education holds strategic significance for society, and it is the government's responsibility to promote sectoral progress through innovative programs and improve infrastructure.
Subsequently, the Prime Minister gave an interview to UNESCO's press service.
