Fatal Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province
Today, on November 6, a tragic car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. Around 00:40, the driver of a Mercedes vehicle with the license plate 36 LG 976, traveling towards Gyumri on the 44th km of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, veered off the road in the administrative area of Kosh village. The vehicle collided with the concrete barriers of the North-South road construction project and rolled over several times, ending up overturned in a field.
According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, 24-year-old Sargis Hovhannisyan, a resident of Davtashen village in Aragatsotn Province, died at the scene. Another individual, his fellow villager 26-year-old Arayik Hovhannisyan, received first aid from the medical team that arrived at the site and was subsequently transported to the 'Ashtarak' medical center for treatment.
