Man Jumps from Victory Bridge, Officer Responding Hit by Car

A serious incident occurred in the capital earlier today. According to Sputnik Armenia, a man, approximately 30 years old, jumped from the "Victory" Bridge into the Hrazdan Gorge. Before jumping, a police officer who was on duty at the other end of the bridge saw him and rushed to help.

While crossing the bridge, the officer was hit by a vehicle. He has been taken to the number 1 university hospital. At this moment, investigators, police officers, and rescue firefighters are working at the scene. With the help of citizens, they have managed to bring the man out of the gorge.
