Firearms, Knives, and Drugs: Reinforced Police Operation Conducted

On August 10, the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a reinforced operation in the regions of Lori, Kotayk, and Armavir, as well as in the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan and at Metro stations.

The police announced that they carried out patrols and inspection measures in yard areas, gathering places, and other public locations. A group of individuals suspected of possessing and using drugs were taken to the community police territorial divisions.

As a result of the reinforced operation, combat, starting, and gas pistols, knives, cold weapons, and packages containing illegal substances were seized. Additionally, drivers without a valid driving license and those violating other traffic rules were identified.

The reinforced operations continue with the aim of ensuring public safety, preventing crime, and uncovering offenses.
