Robbery at the Station Revealed: One Person Arrested
On August 3, a citizen reported to the National Police's 112 operational management center that a man had attacked him near the railway tracks behind one of the buildings on Artsakh Street in Yerevan, inflicting bodily harm and fleeing with his bag.
A criminal case was initiated. The officers of the Criminal Police Department of Yerevan acted on the operational data received in collaboration with the Investigative Committee to identify the person who committed the robbery.
A public criminal prosecution decision was made against a 39-year-old resident of Yerevan. As a result of the operational and investigative measures taken, the 39-year-old man was discovered and arrested on August 11 around 14:30 on Bagratuniats Street in the capital and was transferred to the Yerevan Police Department, and then presented to the investigative body.
The investigation is ongoing.
