Driver Who Fled After Hitting Two Citizens, Leading to Their Deaths, Found

Police have located the driver who fled the scene after hitting workers from the Ashtarak municipality around 14:30 yesterday on the 2nd kilometer of the Ashtarak-Talin highway, along with the vehicle involved.

Investigators have identified the driver as 42-year-old Maiis Adamyan, a resident of the village of Ujan in the Aragatsotn Province. After splitting into several groups, officers went to probable locations of Adamyan, who later presented himself at the Ashtarak police station following explanatory work with the authorities.

It is worth noting that the deceased at the scene was 44-year-old Tatul Sukiasyan, a resident of the city of Ashtarak, while the second victim, 27-year-old Nairik Panosyan, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
