Yerevan Products to Be Exported to Italy
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of new clothing manufacturing factories in Yerevan. The Prime Minister toured the production areas to familiarize himself with the operations and the variety of products.
The head of the executive welcomed the implementation of new investment projects in the light industry sector and noted that the Armenian government is ready to support the development and progress of the sector within its toolkit.
A total of 1,000 new jobs have been created in the sewing factories, but this number is expected to rise to 3,000 in the near future. The factories will produce jackets, leather pieces, and woven garments. All Yerevan products will be exported to Italy.
