Fire Breaks Out Near St. Sargis Church in Underground Passage
At 01:44 today, November 1, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received an alert via the "911" service that a fire had broken out in the underground passage near St. Sargis Church in Yerevan.
Two fire and rescue units from the Yerevan rescue brigade were dispatched to the site. It was determined that the fire had originated from an unused kiosk in the underground passage.
The fire was contained by 02:27 and extinguished by 02:37. The suspended ceiling, covering an area of approximately 100 square meters, was completely burned.
