European Partners' Responses Unfortunately Did Not Alleviate Our Concerns: Arman Abovyan

Arman Abovyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, wrote on his Facebook page:

“Dear citizens, Recently, our meeting with European partners regarding the Istanbul Convention has concluded. During the meeting, my colleagues and I raised all the questions that have caused the widest concerns among the Armenian public. I can confidently say that the responses given by our European partners did not, unfortunately, alleviate our concerns, and I continue to maintain my previously voiced opinion that the Istanbul Convention should not be repealed.”
