Fatal Pedestrian Incident Occurs in Front of 'Tsovagyugh' Supermarket
Today, on October 30, a fatal pedestrian incident took place in the Gegharkunik region. Around 20:50, the driver of a VAZ 2106 with license plate 34 P 865 struck an 81-year-old pedestrian, Yuri Mirzoyan, on the 78th kilometer stretch of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, in front of the 'Tsovagyugh' supermarket.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and assisted in transporting the injured individual to the hospital. However, doctors from the Sevan medical center, who arrived quickly at the scene, confirmed the pedestrian's death. Sources indicate that the deceased held citizenship in both Armenia and Russia.
