Tell this man that Levon is no longer here, neither are Serj and Robert. Simonian to Manukyan
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian wrote on his Facebook page: “Vazgen Manukyan gives interviews against the government in various media outlets once a week, yet complains about press freedom. He draws parallels with the post-election processes of the March 1, 2008, and the 1996 presidential elections, stating that they avoided bloodshed, while in fact, he incited senseless clashes.
We understood that starting from 2008, he collaborated with the Serj and Robert tandem, but, alas, we remember that from 1996, the ‘come after us in 20 minutes’ statement - even though he clearly understood what would happen. That day, at least the beaten and battered fellow deputies should be ashamed.
After all, this man, who has remained in 1996, should be told that Levon is no longer here, neither are Serj and Robert. In today’s statement by Babajanyan regarding him, it is not about the resignation of Arman Babajanyan or the Public Council. This is the voice of the perpetrator of the 1999 atrocities regarding the decapitation of the Republic of Armenia. There is no place to call it treachery or, I don’t know, laugh at it. A specific accusation has been made that needs to be answered, and I assure you it will be answered. As for the laughable part, our laughter has long come, passed, and gone.”
