Avetik Ishkhanyan and Artak Beglaryan Guarantee for Arsen Babayan's Freedom

Lawyer Yervand Varosyan has announced on his Facebook page that rights defender, president of the Helsinki Committee of Armenia, Avetik Ishkhanyan, and the Ombudsman of the Republic of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan (in a personal capacity), have submitted a written request to the authorities responsible for criminal prosecution, expressing their willingness to guarantee Arsen Babayan's proper behavior during the investigation of the criminal case through their statements and financial backing.

Based on the mentioned guarantees, we have submitted a petition to the supervising prosecutor to change the measure of restraint selected for Arsen Babayan from detention to personal guarantee, and to release Arsen Babayan.
