Chemical Explosion in Turkey: 5 People Hospitalized
Anadolu reports that the incident occurred in a warehouse of a store in the Haliliye district during renovation. A cleaning agent for clogged drainage pipes triggered a chemical reaction, which subsequently led to the explosion.
Five injured individuals were transported to hospitals. Specialists from Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) recorded a high concentration of toxic gas at the scene, after which the area was ventilated.
