Dogs at Yerevan Zoo Eat Three Kangaroos
Today, dogs at the Yerevan Zoo have eaten three kangaroos. This information was confirmed in a conversation with "Armenian Time" by the zoo's director, Ruben Khachatryan.
He mentioned that the incident occurred this morning. Three medium-sized dogs attacked the kangaroos and consumed them. "The dogs were not very large, but the guards could not prevent the incident. At this moment, the dogs are being kept close to us," he stated.
The zoo management has contacted the relevant authorities to have the dogs removed from the premises. He denied reports that a zoo guard had killed one of the dogs that attacked the kangaroos. Ruben Khachatryan did not provide further details regarding the incident, stating that the zoo will soon issue an official statement.
