Disaster in Colombia: Death Toll from Earthquake Reaches 111
Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella has reported that the death toll from the earthquake has reached 111, with more than 87 people injured.
Due to the disaster, a nationwide state of emergency has been declared in the country. This decision was unanimously adopted during an emergency government meeting.
Earlier reports indicated that a 7.4 magnitude earthquake was registered in Colombia, resulting in the collapse of dozens of buildings.
