Driver of Toyota Hits 35-Year-Old Citizen in Abovyan; Both Transported to Hospital

Today, on October 8, an accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 20:10, the driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser with license plate 08 GA 888 hit a 35-year-old resident of Abovyan, Rubina S., at the intersection of Yerevanyan and International streets in Abovyan city.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, bystanders were the first to assist the injured person, transporting her with the driver to the Abovyan Medical Center, where she received first aid before being transferred to the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in Yerevan.

The photographer also reported that the driver did not flee the scene and that his condition worsened as well; he was also taken to the Abovyan Medical Center.
