Five Detained Near Ararat Regional Administration During Protest
Five individuals have been detained by the Armenian police following actions near the Ararat Regional Administration, for violating Article 182 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Armenia (failing to comply with the legal demands of the police).
This information was provided by the press service of the Armenian police, which added that the relevant reports are currently being prepared.
It should be noted that these detentions occurred during a protest demanding the reinstatement of Norayr Grigoryan, the former mayor of Norashen, in front of the Ararat Regional Administration. This morning, the situation escalated during the demonstration, leading to police detaining several citizens, including acting mayor Artak Harutyunyan.
