Cars Collide on Tbilisi Highway, Casualties Reported

On October 1, at 17:50, the "911" service received a call reporting a traffic accident on Tbilisi Highway near the Champagne Wine Factory in Yerevan. Several vehicles were involved in the collision, and there was at least one injury, necessitating the assistance of rescue services.

A fire and rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue department in Yerevan was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a "Yereaz" vehicle (driver: Temsik V., born in 1947) had collided with a "Nissan Tiida" vehicle (driver: Andranik M., born in 1966). The driver of the "Yereaz" vehicle has been hospitalized at the Mikayelyan Institute of Surgery. His health condition has been evaluated as satisfactory.

Rescue teams de-energized the vehicles and secured the gas tank valves.
