Director of Artsakh Bank's Artashat Branch Embezzles 122 Million Dram and Flees

The investigative department of the Artashat police is preparing materials based on information received on September 28 from Ardshininvest Bank. According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, the bank reported that the manager of the Artashat branch, 38-year-old Sargis Gareginyan, has embezzled a significant amount of money from the branch’s cash desk.

According to sources, the amount stolen by the branch manager is 122 million dram. The officers of the Artashat police are undertaking necessary operational-search measures to locate S. Gareginyan as well as the embezzled funds.
