Mother-in-Law Stabs Daughter-in-Law

On September 27, at 19:30, the Shengavit Police Department received a report that a 52-year-old woman had stabbed a 25-year-old girl with a knife in one of the private homes in Nor Kharberd. This information was reported by the Public Relations Office of the RA Police.

A special operative group was dispatched to the scene. Shortly thereafter, the hospital informed that the ambulance team had transported the 25-year-old girl with a stab wound to her right chest for medical assistance.

Through the measures taken, it was determined that the woman who inflicted bodily harm on the girl was her mother-in-law. The woman had stabbed her daughter-in-law during a dispute over household issues.

Thanks to the operational and investigative measures taken by the officers of the Shengavit Police Department, the 52-year-old woman was apprehended and arrested at 01:30 on September 28. The knife was seized. An investigation is underway.
