Criminal Case Initiated Following the Death of Soldier Arman Levonyan

On September 28, 2019, at approximately 06:50, a criminal case was initiated in the third garrison investigative division under Article 104, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code in connection with the fatal gunshot injury sustained by conscript soldier, Private Arman Armen Levonyan, in the combat position at the defense area of military unit N.

An investigation is underway. Necessary investigative and procedural actions are being taken to ensure a comprehensive, complete, and objective examination of the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As previously reported, on September 28, at approximately 06:50, in an area of the military unit deployed in the northern direction of the Armed Forces, soldier Arman Armen Levonyan, born in 1999, sustained a fatal gunshot wound under yet undetermined circumstances.
