Royal Wedding Preparations in the United Kingdom
A royal wedding is on the horizon in Great Britain. Princess Beatrice, the 31-year-old granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and ninth in line to the throne, has gotten engaged to 34-year-old Italian millionaire Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
According to BBC News, the official engagement had been anticipated since the start of the year when news of the York princess's new romance surfaced. The royal palace's announcement indicated that the proposal took place this summer during a vacation in Italy.
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place in 2020. “We are both so excited to start this adventure in life together,” the couple stated in their announcement.
