Infant Dies at Armenia Medical Center

On September 24, an infant mortality incident occurred in Yerevan. According to shamshyan.com, a newborn at the Armenia Medical Center's maternity ward has died. The infant was the child of H.K., a 33-year-old resident of Kotayk Province and mother of two.

The child was a boy, and family members told photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, “We do not understand why the child died. We want an objective investigation by both the doctors and law enforcement to uncover the truth. If there is medical negligence involved in the child's death, we want the responsible party to be held accountable so that no mother has to endure this pain that our relative is currently experiencing.”
