Collision between Artsakh Defense Army's KamAZ and Opel near Ardzvi Tvegheri leaves one injured
Today, on September 25, a major traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk Province. Around 20:40, on the 15th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, near Ardzvi Tvegheri, a collision took place involving a Opel vehicle with license plate 24 DN 042 and a KamAZ with license plate ТБ 1 Н0 75. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, one person was transported with bodily injuries to the Abovyan medical center.
According to the website shamshyan.com, emergency rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived promptly at the scene, who cut off the power to the vehicles, closed the gas cylinder of the Opel, and cordoned off the area.
Also present at the scene were officers from the second police battalion’s third company of the traffic police, led by company commander Arthur Petrosyan and platoon commander Tigran Kotanjyan. Senior investigator Mayis Badoyan from the same battalion is overseeing the investigative work at the scene, where materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
The police are working to identify the drivers and the injured party. The photojournalist notes that the KamAZ is registered under the Artsakh Republic Defense Army.
