Strategic Exercises of the Armenian Armed Forces Parallel Similar Drills in Artsakh

In the framework of the military cooperation and coordination of actions between Armenia and Artsakh, from September 24 to October 5, similar military drills will be held in the Artsakh Defense Army alongside the planned strategic exercises of the Armenian Armed Forces on the theme of "Mobilization of the Armed Forces, Countering the Adversary's Aggression." These drills will also involve state and local self-government bodies.

According to a statement from the Artsakh Defense Ministry, the objectives of the exercise include practical verification of mobilization and combat deployment plans, ensuring the compliance of Artsakh and Armenia's general mobilization plans, training involved forces and resources, providing practical experience to state and local self-government bodies, command structures of the Defense Army, and mobilization resources on the implementation of mobilization tasks. Furthermore, the exercises will focus on the examination and specification of the capabilities of the forces, resources, mobilization bodies, as well as the coordination of staff actions. The exercises will also include an assessment of potential developments in case of aggression from the adversary and the proposal of effective solutions to these scenarios.

During the three-phase drills, the destruction of conditional targets will also be carried out using live fire.
