Assistant to Vayots Dzor Governor Arrested: Gor Abrahamyan
Considering that various interpretations are being published in the media, I find it necessary to inform that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident that occurred on the night of September 18 in the city of Yeghegnadzor, involving military personnel and staff of the governor's office of Vayots Dzor region, under Article 112, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
This was stated by Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Arthur Davtyan, on his Facebook page.
"Under the supervision of the prosecutor's office, a full, objective, and multi-faceted investigation is underway to clarify all circumstances of the incident and to provide a legal assessment of the actions of each participant. Today, H.G., who holds the position of assistant to the governor of Vayots Dzor, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting serious bodily harm on one of the military officers with the rank of captain during the incident. It is also being thoroughly verified whether the governor of Vayots Dzor may have participated in the incident," he wrote.
