Driver Overturns Grass-Laden Vehicle in Gegharkunik Region: Injuries Reported

On September 17, a serious car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. This information was reported by shamshyan.com.

At around 5:00 PM, Gegham K., a 35-year-old resident of Zolakar village, lost control of his GAZ 5327 vehicle with the license plate 16 OТ 941 on the 91st kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway, causing the vehicle to overturn.

As a result of the accident, both the driver Gegham K. and his passenger, 67-year-old Gagik K., a fellow villager, sustained injuries and were transported to the Martuni Medical Center.

Officials from the 1st platoon of the 4th battalion of the Road Police's 2nd Officer Company, led by platoon commander Edgar Suslyan, arrived at the scene. Investigations at the site were directed by investigator Grigoryan from the same platoon, who is preparing materials on the case.

The vehicle was loaded with grass, which spilled out following the incident.
