VIDEO: Tragic Car Accident in Shirak Province, Fatality Reported

Today, on September 3rd, around 17:30, a traffic accident occurred on the Gyumri-Armemir highway. Near the village of Gharibjanyan in Shirak Province, 57-year-old Samvel Mejlumyan from Gyumri lost control of his GAZ 24 vehicle with license plate 45 OT 980, veering off the roadway and into a potato field belonging to one of the local farmers.

At the time of the accident, farmers were busy with the potato harvest, but they did not notice how the car ended up in the field. According to reports from Shantnews.am, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was found several meters away from the vehicle.
